Please read these terms carefully before using Fawran. Using the app means you agree to the following.
1. Acceptance
By using Fawran, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
2. The service
Fawran is a smart delivery platform that lets individuals and businesses send their own items from one place to another in Egypt. Fawran is not a shipping company or a postal service; it is an intermediary that connects senders with approved couriers.
3. Registration
You must be 18 or older to register. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Prohibited items
It is forbidden to send anything that violates Egyptian law or public morals, including narcotics, weapons and ammunition, hazardous or explosive materials, and goods that require special permits without those permits. If we suspect a violation, Fawran may stop the order and notify the competent authorities.
5. Prices and payment
Delivery fees are calculated according to distance and the details of the order. Couriers use points in the app to accept deliveries; points are purchased through the payment methods available in the app. Prices may change without prior notice.
6. Cancellation and refunds
A client may cancel an order free of charge before a courier accepts it. After acceptance, a cancellation fee may apply. In documented cases of damage or loss caused by the courier, Fawran will review the request and decide within 7 business days.
7. User responsibility
You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and for communicating with the courier. You are also responsible for adequate packaging of fragile items. Fawran is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
8. Purchase-on-behalf orders
Fawran is not responsible for purchase-on-behalf orders (buying goods on the client's behalf). The client should confirm they have received any cash from the courier and follow the courier on tracking while the order is in progress.
9. Courier accounts
Registered couriers must provide accurate identity information, meet service standards, and deal with clients professionally. Fawran may suspend or close a courier account that breaches these standards.
10. Intellectual property
All app content — design, logos, text, and code — is owned by Fawran. Copying or using any of it without prior written permission is prohibited.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Egyptian law. Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
